Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
