The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
